Calm

It's so quiet round here!  We had a fabulous Christmas, with lots of visitors, drinking, eating and generally making a lot of noise!  I am certain that it has to have been one of the best ever!

The big red fat man spoiled me rotten with two books amongst the perfume and umbrellas!  Kirsties Homemade home and Sew Cath Kidston, love both books and am looking forward to having a go at the bag in the CK book.  I have been frantically working out how I can change our home (1930's) into a handmade haven - might take a while, but as it's up for sale may well be a bit pointless!

It was youngest son's 14th on Christmas Eve, he had a lovely day of his friends and family coming to visit him.  It was a bit manic and a bit mad busy but he loved his day - even though he STILL hasn't had his birthday cake.  Looks like he will be eating it tonight with his sleepover mates!  That's still to come.  Then it will be New Years eve and away we go again!  This year we are having a quiet one.  Good film on DVD - to be chosen, then a wander into town to listen to the bells chime 12 then back for a glass of something fizzy.  Its a lovely experience for me!

We are having a journey out to the wonderful Southwold today (not far from us) for a wander along the seafront and into one or two shops - whilst desperately trying not to spend too much money (not possible!).
Better start getting everyone ready!

I hope everyone has a Fantastic Year ahead of them and that all good things come your way xx
